PAYROLL

Payroll is one of those systems that is often less expensive to outsource than to complete in-house. The more employees you have, the lower the cost per person.
We have a dedicated payroll team working throughout the year who have more than 40 years' worth of experience in working with all maner of queries, including dealing with HMRC.

We use cloud-based payroll software that both you and your team will have access to. Your team will be able to log in to view and download their payslips, P60s, or P45s. You'll also be able to upload any crucial employment related documents such as ID and Proof of Right to Work, Contracts, and Pension Documents.

And now with the integration of apps like Modulr and Telleroo, we're also able to set up the pay run for you so that you're not having to manually pay every single employee, every single week.

BOOKKEEPING

Just upload your invoices and we'll do the rest. Our bookkeepers are fully-trained, competent, and insured. We carry out a 20 point check for each transaction to ensure that you're claiming the right expenses, the right level of tax, and that what you're doing is within the confines of HMRC's ever chaging rules and regulations.

All of our bookkeeping is checked and signed off by a senior member of the leadership team.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS

When your business gets to a certain size, it becomes difficult to monitor every aspect and to keep an eye on your KPIs. That's where we come in. We'll report back to you on how you're performing vs how you want to perform (budget vs actual) and recommend ways for you to improve your performance.

VAT RETURNS

VAT is a nasty word to most business owners, but it's particularly hard to navigate for hospitality businesses. Most businesses have generic VAT guidances, but hospitality has a few of its own e.g. for Bakery, and Catering. Did you know that the rate of VAT can change depending on whether there's chocolate on or in certain cakes? Or the way that you make your milkshakes also determines whether it will be 0% or 20% VAT?

FIXED FEE ACCOUNTING?

We don't do hourly rates. Charging by the hour penalises us for being efficient and it penalises you when we're not. We base our fees on a wide range of factors such as; your revenue, number of sites, number of invoices, the amount of bank transactions, the pay frequency of your team, and so on. The needs of every business are different, so we don't have a "one size fits all" approach.
